¶[!!→] HXS - let's deploy our model online?
why do it?:
1) we replicate by documenting capacity to run these models because they're often wicked to set up, written in fortran etc
2) yeah to have something running, find and curate data sources
3) to gain knowledge of these models, their limits, and try to maybe find a platform we could maybe contribute to
in practice:
* these models will most often be produced in university contexts
* and those are fucking famous for being a mess to deploy
* so:
A) hackers to the rescue (cursing ensues):
1) we do love this science
2) we do love weird technologies, or atleast ... can handle them ... sometimes
3) ... also much later ... we can piece things together
B) ... but also ... we could :
* ask for support (funding) to do this kind of things

¶[!] PROJECT -- APPARENT TEMPERATURE CALCULATION
"feels like" temperatures, and "human indexes"
these kind of indexes might be important for how we perceive climate change dynamics.
http://www.city-data.com/forum/weather/1569849-if-there-feels-like-apparent-temperatures.html
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apparent_temperature
Since there is no direct measurement of solar radiation in U.S. observation systems, and solar radiation can add up to 15 °F (8.3 °C) to the apparent temperature, commercial weather companies have attempted to develop their own proprietary apparent temperature systems, including The Weather Company's "FeelsLike" and AccuWeather's "RealFeel." These systems, while their exact mechanisms are trade secrets, are believed to estimate the effect of solar radiation based on the available meteorological data that is reported (such as UV index and cloud cover).

Is there an opensource project for this?

### btw develop other scripts
(at CHT we also call them COMMUNIQUES or PROTOCOLS or FLOWS or SURVEY or TEMPLATES)
within forum (if you don't have explicit welcoming round)
do several cues for invites:
1) here is the pad, please put yourself down
2) "by the way" remind people to do that if they didnt do i tyet
3) at some point you check and read out ahah ok cool i see x y z
you ask somebody that you think might want to be there but "forgot" to do it
figure out organically:
A) i didn't write because i forgot and really want to
B) i didnt write because i'm not sure if this will work out and if i have time
C) i didnt write because stazi
... without making people feel weird about it
... but also trying to make it safe for them to participate, even if they didn't imagine it before
... especially in context of possibily shifting "radicality" of what we're talking
